Job Description

Who we’re looking for VCA Canada Calgary North Animal Hospital is currently recruiting a RVT to join our team. If you’d like to work at a hospital that is not only general practice but internal medicine, surgery, exotics, and 24 hour emergency we may be the right fit for you! We work hard to create an environment that is fast paced but also rewarding and fun. Our staff have a passion for learning, teaching andac new grads are welcome and encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician to expand their knowledge and skills. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong desire to provide exceptional client experience. We work to promote a great work/life balance, with a schedule of five days on/ five days off/ four days on/ four days off (work two weekends, then have two weekends off). The shifts are 11 hours, with a mandatory 1 hour lunch. The schedule will require some overnights, but this is only two months a year/ year and a half, and includes an overnight premium. We provide an extensive training program that ensures you get the training and mentorship you need.
